Night Habits You Should Have!

It is important to keep morning routine. It helps to start our engine and gives us energy and motivation to face the day. Having a night routine is just as crucial. It helps us to wind down after a hard day's work and keep our mind and body relax and ready for rest.


Here are some habits that you can incorporate into your nightly routine to clear your thoughts and be a better you.


1. Plan for the next day

One of the things that keeps us awake is the anxiety that we may have. Anxiety of things undone. Anxiety of what needs to be done tomorrow. And the many thoughts that muddled our mind. The best way to reduce the anxiety is to plan for the next day. Plan what are the urgent tasks, what can be done and settled then. Once that is out of the way, you will feel lighter and less anxious.


2. Shower

You can't go to bed hot and sweaty from your tough day. You need to be comfortable to enjoy a nice sleep. Have a long shower and you can feel your tiredness slowly wash away.

3. Praying or Meditating

Take 5-10 minutes from your schedule and reconnect with yourself. A little time away from the world. A little time from the craziness. A little time to reset and center yourself. The peacefulness of the night will the much needed tranquility into your life.


4. Read for 20-30 minutes

Reading before bed allows your body to focus on one thing. Research shows that 5 minutes of reading can help to relieve tensions and calm your nerves. It also eliminate the many thoughts you have and get your brain ready for sleep.


5. Go to bed at the same time every night

For most of us, it is hard to go to bed at the same time every night. Actually, it is almost impossible. The main thing to make sure that you get 6-10 hours of sleep every day. So you need to wake up at 6am, try to be in bed by 10pm. Having enough rest is key to have a productive and successful day.
