My Favourites: June Edition

I like to share 3 things I love each month with you. And I hope you can share what you are loving too.

Here are the 3 things I love in June.

Palestine: Through the eyes of the child

ree

One of the most thought provoking purchase I made this month is the coffee talk book featuring drawings by Palestinian children refuges from Beit Atfal Assamoud. It was tough flipping through this book. I had to take breaks in between. Whatever I am seeing in this book is through their eyes and seeing what they went through is so heartbreaking. I do recommend getting it so that we can understand a little about the plights of the Palestinian people. Visit their website here.

Mamma Mia Trattoria E Caffè

ree

I love lemon meringue tart and Mamma Mia is one of the two places I go when I need a little lemony fix. Their Panna Cotta is super yummy too! Did you know that you can ask for a cheese top up for your mains? I didn't and was pleasantly surprised when the staff top up my Tortiglioni Rustic Beef Oxtail Bolognese so generously with cheese. It made the meal so much more delicious!!! A nice halal Italian meal for a date or family gathering.

Jisulife Fan

ree

With the weather being what it is, this fan is my bff. I like that I can hang it around my neck and leave my hands free for other stuffs. It has 5 speeds and I will use speed number 3 for most days. Only when the weather is super unbearable, I will switch to speed number 5. This fan is a permanent item in my tote bag. Ready to go!

Share with me what you love in June. I would love to hear them!
